Interview with Dr.LeNTo/SeNtia by: Red
In this issue we have interviewed Dr LeNTo - known by some as SeNtia - who currently is a part of the newspaper team. He's the maker of two of the comics this issue, and if you haven't read them before, what are you waiting for? They can be found in the paper's comic section and you can find his Not for Sale comic series at his deviantART gallery.
How long have you been making comics and why did you start?
I first started about a year ago, by creating 5 comics. I left it after that for a while so I could practice using Photoshop. I only recently started doing them again a few months ago. Why did I star? It kinda started as a hobby and escalated from there. I found that I liked drawing the cartoon type characters you can see in the comics and it grew from their, into strips then into coloured scraps and now into a full comic.
How do you make your comics
First I draw out the comic with a pencil first followed by a black liner to define the lines. Then I use Photoshop CS2 for the colouring and adding the text and speech bubbles.
Do you get all the ideas yourself?
That depends on where my comics are going. The ones submitted to Sals Realm newspaper are all 100% my ideas.
In case of the “Not For Sale!” comic strip they are not all my subject ideas. I accept requests from people all the time, they give me the ideas and thought on a subject and I go and do the comic. I give them credit for the ideas and I get the credit for drawing.
This allows me to change the style of the comic and keep the ideas fresh. It also allows people to air their pains and pet hates about the game in a new and more colourful format.
Why Runescape comics and not originals?
It was a toss between a Runescape comic and a comic about being a student and playing video games. Since the latter option is overused, and there is very few full time Runescape based webcomics, I decided to base it on Runescape.
Favorite cartoon in real life?
VG Cats. It's a cartoon about video games satire but which hasn't lost the focus of what the comic is about.
How long does it take you to make a comic?
About 1 to 2 days for a single comic. I usually do all 4 comics at one time, which takes me about 4 to 5 days.
Worst/best/funniest experience as a RS player?
Worst experience – unwittingly walking into a meeting of the “Runescape KKK club” at Seers. 10 people dressed in white robes chanting ‘Keep Runescape White' – Not a pleasant experience
Best – Getting a robin from a clue, That kind of luck happens only once. Very nearly lost it on the trek back to from Level 55 wild to varrock. A real white-knuckle-ride that was.
Funniest –doing the “Cold War” quest, there is something about communist penguins that had me laughing hysterically
The most stupid thing Jagex has invented?
Jagex stupidity? There's so many things to pick I'm like a kid in a sweet shop! Defiantly a close call between Communist penguins and using Lizards as weapons.
Your definition of a noob?
An obnoxious, offensive or unpleasant player. Not to be mistaken for “Newb” which means new player.
Among the works that you've made, what's your favorite?

This has to be my favorite. Despite it being a filler comic I still find it funny. The randomness of it appeals to my sense of humor
Could you mention a person you admire?
The person I admire the most? Hmm, that's a tough one. I would say I admire Nelson Mandela above all others because of how he stood up for his beliefs despite being sent to jail and oppressed.

Last, do you make other kind of artwork?
Yes, I create a few amateur graphics from time to time.
Well, I have no further questions for you! Thank you for your time, and to the readers; look out for another interview with one of Sal's Realm's skilled artists in the next issue.
