He discusses his runescape life, his forum life and his life... away from the keyboard. Including pictures of his most recent vacation. What are a few of you're life goals? How did you come across Sal's forum? About how many PMs do you receive per day? What was you're favourite part of the trip? What was wrong with the TV channels? How long have you been playing RuneScape? All and more will be answered, as I interview Master Neverdead.

Have you ever watched a prank show on TV before? Why not have one on a newspaper? Meen Masheen interviews a forumer, barr n00b. What seems to be a casual interview... turns into a confusing one. Why? Prank Interview - By: Meen Masheen with barr n00b The aim: To select a random forumer, and interview him/her over MSN about his/her time on Sal's... and maybe other things.

Before the interview starts:

Meen: Okay, this is how it works. I ask you 8 questions, you just answer them....there is no discussion.

barr n00b: ok np

Meen: Let's start.

barr n00b: ok sure

The interview:

Meen: Hello, forum member barr n00b! Let's start the interview.

barr n00b: sure

Meen: How did you come across Sal's Realm Of RuneScape?

barr n00b: I first came across sal,s realm of Runescape when I heard a couple of kids talk about it at school.

Meen: Interesting. When did you join?

barr n00b: I am not really dure when i joined, but I was going on the site daily and one day I found out there were forums so I join.

Meen: Guessing - how long do you think you spend on the Forums/Site per day?

barr n00b: I ma guessing about 2-3 hours a day

Meen: Whoa! A fellow addicted forumer! Moving on...How do you feel about the community of the site?

barr n00b: Well I feel that they are really nice and they can answer all your questions. There are also alot of experienced players on the forums, so that makes it fun. =)

Meen: It's nice to belong to something so friendly, I know.

barr n00b: ya

Meen: Explain the difference in the boiling points of sodium chloride and phosphorus pentachloride.

barr n00b: ?

Meen: I see...What are your views on the struggle of the African Pigmy Hedgehogs' through their annual hibernation period?

barr n00b: Wha...

barr n00b: I, really dont have any views.

Meen: That's no problem...

barr n00b: ok

Meen: you know these questions are given to me by the higher ranks..I'm the interviewer...I do what I'm told
Meen: Anyway...
Meen: How effective do you believe a rare earth element chemistry of zircon at its use as a provenance indicator?

barr n00b: I actually think it is very effective.

Meen: I sincerely disagree. Well, I guess it's your interview!

Meen: In your opinion - how reliable is the Sumerian Collage of Outerplanetomertry's theory that there is, in fact, phtalocsaynines on Kashbrillwui?

barr n00b: Well I dont really know much about that but I think it is true.

Meen: What did you just call my cousin?

barr n00b: nothing!

Meen: Thank-you for your time.

barr n00b: ok thank you...

Interview with Master Neverdead - By: Prashanna with Hexias

I was given the opportunity to interview Master Neverdead (or Hexias which is his RuneScape name) for the newspaper. Master Neverdead is a Forum Administrator at Sal's Runescape Forum.

Prashanna: Hi, Master Neverdead, thank you for giving me the opportunity to interview you for the newspaper.

Hexias: Hi, and no problem.

Prashanna: Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?

Hexias: My name is Matthew, I'm 18, I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. I'm about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 145 pounds; I have short light brown hair and blue eyes. I'm not as skinny as I used to be, all these years of lifting weights is finally catching up to me.

Prashanna: What are some of you're interests/hobbies?

Hexias: I enjoy Weightlifting, writing, making/listening/enjoying music, and spending time with friends. (Girls, essentially)

Prashanna: Name some things you dislike in life.

Hexias: I'd have to say hypocrites, liars, and self righteous people. If you can't be honest, then keep away from me.

Prashanna: Where are you now?

Hexias: Southern Adventist University near Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Prashanna: Oh, cool! What's you're major?

Hexias: Journalism

Prashanna: That's why you wanted to join the newspaper, haha. Is it you're first year at university?

Hexias: Yes, in fact.

Prashanna: Is university fun so far?

Hexias: Most definitely! I make friends with relative ease, so I have plenty to do. The area is nice, plenty of rivers, lakes, and mountains to waste afternoons in.

Prashanna: What do you like the most about university?

Hexias: Right now, the environment. High school was so silly with its little groups of snobs, but here everyone is willing to spend time with anyone. So, I guess I'd say I've enjoyed making friends and spending time with them.

Prashanna: What are a few of you're life goals?

Hexias: Well, I want the basics. Start a family, graduate from college, and keep a steady job. However, I would like to write a book that changes lives.

Prashanna: What is your favourite quote?

Hexias: "Save a tree, eat a beaver."

Prashanna: Haha, nice quote. When did you become a member of Sal's forum?

Hexias: Oh man, it has been a long time, at least a couple of years.

Prashanna: How did you come across Sal's forum?

Hexias: I was looking for a community to join, and this place caught my fancy. I was new to RS, and was interested to learn more about it. The other communities, even then, seemed stuffy and unrelational, but Sal's Realm was just a grab bag of unique, fun people. I couldn't resist.

Prashanna: When did you become a mod/admin?

Hexias: Well, not too long after I joined the forum, I made friends with Cameron. Somehow, he talked Boss into making me a moderator. (Still don't know why!) I've tried my hardest to earn the position I was given, and still strive to meet the goal of keeping this forum safe for the members.

Prashanna: What was your warn level before you became a mod?

Hexias: Haha, I'm not really sure. I wouldn't doubt that I didn't have a perfect record.

Prashanna: Do you have to be a DM to become a mod?

Hexias Back then, things worked differently. It was Sal's Empire, and the choices were up to him.

Prashanna: About how many PMs do you receive per day?

Hexias: I'd say 15-20. Warn disputes, reports, questions, and of course my friends who seem urged to spam my mailbox.

Prashanna: Whoa that's a lot. I didn't expect that much. but what's you're favourite part of being an admin?

Hexias: The good feeling I get when The Team and I have discovered a solution to a problem, making the forum a safer place. There is nothing better then knowing that you are working for a good cause.

Prashanna: Name the one thing that you like about Sal's Realm the most.

Hexias: The family atmosphere.

Prashanna: Do you travel a lot?

Hexias: I have recently.

Prashanna: Name a few places you've traveled to.

Hexias: The backwoods of Missouri for camping, Hannibal, The Thousand Islands, Syracuse, Cocoa Beach, and Toronto.

Prashanna: Yeah, I saw you're thread saying you went to Toronto, where I live, did you enjoy your visit?

Hexias: Yes, it was a very pleasant trip. The city was clean and friendly and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Prashanna: What did you do? Name a few major things you did.

Hexias: I went to the CN tower (of course), and to a place in Mississauga called the Playdium. On the way back, we caught Niagara Falls, it was truly inspiring.

Prashanna: What was you're favourite part of the trip?

Hexias: Relaxing in the hotel, most definitely. Room service rocks!

Prashanna: Haha, what was your least favourite part with the trip?

Hexias: Driving through upstate New York.

Prashanna: On the thread about you visiting Toronto, you said there was something wrong with the television channels. What was wrong with the TV channels?

Hexias: Stop! You are bringing back the memories! *shudders visibly* It was so horrible! Make it stop! Make it stop!

Prashanna: Haha, okay, were the people nice?

Hexias: Yes, they were VERY friendly. I was thoroughly impressed with the way they treated "us Yanks" or whatever they term us as.

Prashanna: Can you please share with us a few pictures?

Prashanna: Haha, nice pictures. Did you eventually visit Tim Hortons?

Hexias: No! I tried so hard, but the famous Tim Hortons remains elusive.

Prashanna: How long have you been playing runescape?

Hexias: Six years, give or take. But I didn't discover Sal's Realm until I finally logged on to RS2, after quite a time of being away.

Prashanna: Are your retired or inactive?

Hexias: Currently I'm reactive. I'm semi-retired, but not completely gone.

Prashanna: Are you freeplay or pay to play?

Hexias: Well, P2P regularly, but until I get my schedule tweaked, F2P.

Prashanna: Were you ever in a clan?

Hexias: Oh yes! The Plague Knights, Hatebreeds, and Hatebreeds Two.

Prashanna: What is your combat level now?

Hexias: 87...thousand
