These are the answers to those riddles!
Riddle 1: D Ceptor, the famous magician, claims that he can drop a cup filled to the top, holding it above his head, and dropping it to the floor, without spilling any water. How can this be?
ANSWER: It's not filled to the top with water.
Riddle 2: D Ceptor, the famous magician, claims that he can tell the score of any baseball game, before it starts. How can this be?
ANSWER: The score is 0-0.
Riddle 3: Lauren and her friend Amy, are talking in the hallway of their appartment complex. Amy says, "Did you notice the sign that said there'd be no electricity or gas from midnight to six in the morning?" That reminded Lauren of something. "This morning, I woke up at ten-'til-six, a little later than I normally do. I lit some candles, and went into the shower. Then I heard an odd noise, like someone opening the door. I looked out the shower door, and saw someone's reflection in the bathroom mirror. But I couldn't make out who it was because the mirror was covered in fog. When I got out, I noticed that my priceless coin collection was gone." "No way," replied Amy. "You're lying." How did she know?
ANSWER: There is no electricity or gas to fog up the mirror.
Riddle 4: A tree doubles in height each year. It starts out as half a foot, and grows to sixteen feet. When is the tree at half of its maximum height?
ANSWER: Nine years.
