Cities are large and expansive in World Of Warcraft- so large you can even get lost!

World Of Warcraft is a very organized MMORPG. There are 8 races in the game, with four races in each of the two competing factions. The Alliance is made up of humans, dwarves, gnomes, and night elves, while the Horde is made up of orcs, trolls, taurens, and undeads. At the end of this year, Blizzard will release the expansion pack The Burning Crusade which lets you play on blood elves (Horde) and the draenei (Alliance). World Of Warcraft has 9 classes, although each race has 4 to 6 classes available to it. The basic classes are warrior, rogue, hunter, mage, warlock, priest, and druid. Shamans are exclusive to the Horde, and paladins are exclusive to the Alliance.

World of Warcraft contains many references to reality. Anyone who's seen the dancing banana will recognize the Tauren's dance.

The gameplay serves any kind of MMORPG player's way to play. For example, if you love player versus player combat, you could play on a PvP server, where you're automatically flagged for PvP combat in most areas, unlike in normal servers where you must type /pvp to be flagged for PvP. You could play the game solo style and fight the beasts roaming the land, or join up with a huge raid group and possibly conquer an enemy city. And to some player's preferances, you can play on Role Play servers, where you must act as if you are your character.

Dwarves have a bonus to their skill with guns, one of the many weapons in World Of Warcraft.

Two factions makes it even more fun. For example, if you're on the Horde, you won't be able to talk to an Alliance player because the two factions don't share any languages. And in most cases, you'll be fighting eachother! Except for some neutral areas that don't allow any fights between the two factions, you're at war wherever you go! The main plot of the game is in fact this war. It adds to the competitive part of MMORPGs.

If you think this blast of fire is a pretty cool spell, consider the fact that this is the most basic spell a mage can use.

And the current WoW isn't even the tip of the iceberg! At the end of November, Blizzard will release its first expansion pack: The Burning Crusade. In the Burning Crusade, the Horde will gain the new race of Blood Elves, and the Alliance will gain the new race Draenei. The two classes will make a crossover between the two faction exclusive classes (Paladin and Shaman), making every class available to any faction. For the experienced players, there will be a raised level cap of 70, and a new continent for level 60 and higher players to train. Much more is going to be released in this amazing expansion.

Warsong Gulch, the first available Battleground, is a capture-the-flag style battle between the Alliance and the Horde. You can gain honor here, rewarding you with ranks and access to powerful armor!

World Of Warcraft is an extremely addictive MMORPG. Don't let the 15 dollar a month price tag fool you- after all, it costs 15 dollars to eat a meal at a fancy restaurant, so it really isn't that expensive. Many people who enter this relaxing and competitive game will find 1 hour of playing become 5. If you like RuneScape, you'll definitely like this. Although the server, class, and profession systems prevent anyone from being the "best player", that actually makes it better. For a RuneScape player, it seemed a bit weird at first, but after a few hours I saw the true excellence of this game. Try it out, you won't regret it.

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood Game Review - Dark Light A
Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood

Console: Xbox (Also PC and PS2)
Rating: Mature (18+) ESRB
Age 16+ PEGI

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood is the sequel to the highly loved game, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30. Unlike the first game, you play Sergeant "Red" Hartsock, an American paratrooper during D-Day. You play through the beginnings of the assault on Normandy and the first few days of the intense action. The game starts off right after you jump out of the plane, much like the first game. You're thrust into a chaotic and extreme war in which you must rely on tactics and your squad to survive. With one-shot-kill lethality, your two squads become vital to your survival and victory.

The game features good AI, a long campaign including quite a variety of missions, and both co-operative and versus multiplayer. Realism is a huge factor in this game's fun. It's the thinking man's shooter. A wrong decision can kill you and your squad. The one-shot-kill lethality will force you to be resourceful and careful as you go throughout the missions. Speaking of resourcefulness, your squad is your deadliest weapon. AI in the game is great, as both friendly and enemy soldiers care about their lives, and will act like actual trained men. They use tactics to win in a battle just as much as their guns. Your men are intelligent, and if you give them an impossible task (like charging a machine gun), they will refuse to do it. You can command your squad with a host of different actions, including suppression, assault, and just moving them.

If you have played Road to Hill 30, you'll notice some nice improvements. The AI in this sequel is improved a great deal. Enemies are now more aggressive as they also seek to flank you as well, making tactics that much more important. If an enemy squad sees you are trying to flank them, they are likely to retreat to a safer position. Your squad also acts more intelligently, finding better cover and running to different cover if necessary. Another improvement is multi-player. Earned in Blood includes a new "Skirmish" mode in which you can team up with a second player.

All in all, this game in blood will give you a very different experience you can't get with any other game. Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood gets an 8.5/10.
