Interview with Skill pure
Well if your not in free world where most level 3's are autoers you will find out these level 3's turn out to be skill pures! Well after this out you'll think "What?! Why do these people make these characters?!" or "What's the point? Improve your main!" Why do people make these low combat level players that only train those boring money making skills? Well I decied to go find out! I interviewed three different skill pures.
Xtava

Well first off I actually decided to do skills and hopefully find one to get some source besides Sal's. After going from Fishing, to Woodcutting I finally went to Rune crafting and found a level 3 skill pure by the name of Xtavia.
Q. Why are you a skill pure?
A. I love being a level 3.
Q. Why is that?
A. Because my fun skills are very high!

Q. Do you have a main character?
A. Nope this is the only one i have.
Q.Do you ever miss the places that you cannot go to because of your level.
A. I guess you can't miss something you haven't seen
Q.what have you done with all you cash?
A. Well I got a Santa Hat.

Currently she has cooking and fletching at level 99.
Metal Cactus

After getting someone outside of Sal's it was time to get someone inside of Sal's. Metal Cactus is not only a skill pure but is also a player moderator!
Q. Why are you a skill pure?
A. Because there are not many; and one of my friends was one.
Q. Why Do you like being a skill pure?
A. Yes, it's a lot of fun
Q. Do you have a main character?
A. Yes.
Q. Do you ever miss the places that you cannot go to because of your level.
A. I dont anyway, because i also have a pure thats a member.
Q. What have you done with all you cash?
A. Spent it on skills and cool items that anyone can wear.
Q.Anything levels 99?
A. No... pfft.
Q.Do you ever get bored?
A. Never.... theres always something new to do.
At this stage in the game I was trying to formulate in my head on the reasoning. Well, Metal does it to be different not to mention that he is kind and respectful which earned him to be player moderator. While Xtavia has no real reason when shedecided to become one as she is still new.

Q. Why are you a skill pure?
A. Mainly because I can't PK (player kill).
Q. Why do you like being a skill pure?
A. Skillers may be slightly more common nowadays, but I still think it makes you stand out from the general RuneScape community.
Q. Do you have a main character?
A. I did have a main character, but after it was sadly banned I made a skiller.
Q. Do you ever miss the places that you cannot go to because of your level.
A. To be honest, as a free player there isn't very much to miss. All the same, I do realise that I will never have the chance to attend some of the fun mini-games like Castle Wars and Pest Control.
Q. What have you done with all you cash?
I own a set of Trimmed and Gilded Wizard robes, but there isn't much choice for a F2P skiller.
Q.Anything levels 99?
A. Not yet...
Q.Do you ever get bored?
A. To be honest, the day I get bored of skilling the day I get bored of RuneScape, skilling is just so much more fun that combat.
After hearing this what really stood out in my mind was "To be honest, the day I get bored of skilling the day I get bored of RuneScape, skilling is just so much more fun that combat." I would say "Training skills are boring" but so can combat, I mean Runescape isn't fast pace action like Naruto or other anime shows and games. Skillers are not much different than we are. They just play the game a little differently. Think about what RuneScape really is, it is game of random clicks on a screen."Skillers" or "Skill pures" Choose to play the game differently in a open ending game and shouldn't be put down for their choice. The reason for deciding it, as you can see, is up to them and differs from person to person. In all of this I say that as long as they have fun playing Runescape the way the want, let them be.
Interview With Gamefreakguy - By: Richman99
I had the chance to interview Gamefreakguy, who is a very famous RuneScape player who won many memorable Sal's Forum events including Snowball Wars 3 and 4 and did very well at World War 2.
How old are you?
14, since a few days ago.
When did you start playing RuneScape?
About 2 years ago... Maybe 2 and a half or so...
Have you won any other events like this?
I won Snowball War 4 and 5 but got obliterated in World War 1. Now I came in 2nd in World War 2.
Do you have any rares?
No, I haven't been around long enough to get them originally and haven't made enough money on F2P to buy one... yet...
Are you rich in runescape?
No, not by a whole lot... The main reason is because I got hacked for a lot about a year ago. But I've recovered pretty well.
Did you think you would go this far in WW2?
Of course I hoped so but I just wanted to have fun like always and it worked well for me.
What do you like to do in RuneScape?
Umm... See my items that I saved up turn into cash from high-alching. But for skills I enjoy Magic and combat in general, and fishing, cooking, smithing, mining sometimes... And having fun with friends.
What do you not like to do in RuneScape?
I really hate the loooooong times you have in the game like mining a billion coal or something... But in the end it pays off.
Whats your favorite real life activity?
I play a lot of other sports now and then but I'm on my school's soccer team, which is really fun. I like to do pretty much anything to have a good time... theme parks, water sports, just a lot of fun stuff. Also listening to upbeat music with an encouraging theme really gets me going.
Combat level?
Currently 94, and that's just F2P (free to play).
Range level?
Currently 69.
Mage level?
Currently 69
Did you train for World War 2 or did you just take it easy?
I didn't do any training specifically for WW2 because when you reach high enough levels there isn't much more you can do besides what you already do. But I didn't really take it "Easy" ...like I was preparing and stuff before-hand of course, getting my ninja skills flowing and my finger and wrist reflexes at their finest.
What are you going to do with the cash prize you got?
At my level, 50K isn't a HUGE sum of cash to receive, although it will help, just like all the money one would find everywhere while playing. It goes into all the stuff I use money for in the game, mainly like buying materials I need for different things. Or, you know, I could, err... ...yeah, it's just some nice extra money.
Are you thinking of participating in World War 3?
Of course, why wouldn't I? I'd participate in any event like this that is arranged.
If a Snowball Wars Extreme or Regular Snowball Wars topc came up, would you join?
Yes, I'd really like another SBW soon. Those were really great.
What do you like about Sal's and what do you dislike about Sal's?
I like the community that helps each other out and the good market systems and all the stuff that you'd find in a great place like this. For dislikes, err... Not much. Nothing about Sals do I dislike that could be removed. Just those things and those people that pop up with a bad attitude or a negative addition to the place. But that rarely happens here.
How many hours do you play on Sal's every day?
Heh heh... "Play on Sals" ...hmm... I usually come on while playing RS and look at my topics and in the Events and answer PMs and that stuff... so not a whole lot of time but just enough to do what needs to be done, and an occasional stroll through the Games... gotta have that too.
How many hours do you play on RuneScape everyday?
Ehh, could be anywhere from none to, like, maybe 8 on a crowded eventful Saturday. It all depends on my real life schedule, so school limits the time down, which is fine, and things like sports, random events in real life, or parties and friends...
On both of the above my time is also shared with a few other forums and online games and stuff. But RS-related sites take the greatest slice of whipped creme from the cake.
Interview With Dani - By: Co-Z
I interviewed Dani, one of the newest moderators at Sal's Realm Of RuneScape.
So Dani, how does it feel to be promoted?
Have you ever tried lifting an empty handbag that you thought to be full and heavy? That sensation of POWER? Well, nothing like it. It's more like a load of responsibility that literally crashes on you. Of course, editing signatures if fun, and you should know something about that, don't you. ![]()
How will you use your powers?
I will use then to terrorize the forum! I'll spread terror among the members! I'll...well...I'll use my powers to pet kittens. ![]()
Anyways, when did you join Sal's Realm of RuneScape?
I joined way back in April 2005, so that's almost exactly 18 months ago! It DOES make me feel old, I'll tell you. O_o
Tell me about bears.
Bears...well...it's like the Fight Club, you don't talk about them, you can either get eaten or mauled to death, but talking about bears is not a feasible option. Watch your back.
Are you excited about the new graphics update for bears planned for October?
Of course! If someone offered you a free voucher for a miracle beauty farm, wouldn't you be excited?
What would you call different about Italians from the rest of the world?
Apart from the topic I posted a while ago in General Chat? I'd say that we are generally lazy and always trying to achieve the best result with the minimum effort, and especially try to delegate the effort to someone else.
Do you have a pogo stick? If so, what color? I used to have a few pogo sticks, but I broke them all after the first jump. Ever seen a bear using pogo sticks? O_o
If a dog walked into a hair salon and ate a planet, would it A) Explode, B) Blow up or C) Win the World Cup?
None of the above, the dog would just become a furry Earth.
One day, the Big Dipper Galaxy said to the Little Dipper, "Noob". Will the Little Dipper A) Commit suicide B) Call the Big Dipper a choob or C) Give a bear a headbutt?
I'd say option B. Of course, what happens later is another matter.
What color is the ocean?
Isn't it DM color? I always forget. O_o
Are my questions too random?
You haven't seen what randomness is until you haven't talked with King of Monra. ![]()
Let's get back on topic. How many hours a day do you spend on Sal's?
When I'm in University and have some free time, I usually dive in a computer hall and get on Sal's and IRC. Of course, I study too, from time to time. If I had to count the time, it'd be something around 3 hours, or so.
How often do you play RuneScape?
I stopped playing as soon as I started having exams in June 2006, and didn't resume playing since. I still don't know whether I'll be playing again or not.
Do bears have any affiliation with Chuck Norris?
Of course! The Bear Of Saint Spirit, or B.O.S.S. for short, has been created way before we all were born by the union of Chuck Norris and Al Gore. Other offsprings of this union were the Internet, which Al Gore falsely claims as his only, and the invention of rodeos.
Any other comments, Dani?
I guess not. After all, it's better for you, I'm getting a bit hungry.
