Have you ever wondered how you could help Salmoneus? No need to private message Salmoneus or the Moderators to ask them, all you need to do is read this article for some ideas.
Sal's Realm of RuneScape is a great site. Now think about it, Salmoneus is the one that runs the site! Just think, could you handle one site all by yourself and not lose your cool? Not many can. There are tons of ways to help Salmoneus and this site. You could make guides, leave feedback, suggestions, and much more.

Guides
Sal's has many guides, have you ever wondered who made them? RuneScape players like you did! Is there a new quest?, a new holiday event?, a new skill?, do you see a guide that needs to be re-done or corrected? or do you see a guide that needs to be translated into Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish? Well if there is, go do that quest, event, or skill, maybe taking notes while you do and make a guide, if you are translating a guide, you don't need to re-do the quest. Remember, while making a guide, don't rush. Proofread your guides over and over again. If you are translating a guide, avoid using online translators as they are usually innacurate. Sure, many people rush to get their guide done, but what matters is the quality and not how quick the guide is made. Include pictures and detailed descriptions of the items and non-player characters allowing the reader to understand the guide completely.

Feedback and Suggestions
Next, your feedback helps the forums a lot as well. If you don't give your feedback then how will the Salmoneus, the administrators and the moderators know what should be changed or added? They need your feedback to change the site or forums to become even better! Many suggestions have been coming in for the forum and site which means that many great ideas are coming in that could make Sal's even better.

Salmoneus has, once again, added a new addition to the RuneScape forum! Blogs! This feature let's you express your feelings in an on-line journal! People can also comment on things, too. This was a fantastic birthday present for Sal's Realm! Happy second birthday! Back on blogs, it is a great way to see how your fellow forumer's life is going. Why not post a picture, link to other sites, or even talk about events happening in real life? You can do this all in the blog. It may also be a place to show all your goals on RuneScape, right on this Journal we longed for so much.

1) Pick a name that pops out, that attracts other forumers.
2) Choose a skin that expresses you and shows who you are.
3) Welcome your guests with some nice pictures.
4) Reply to comments as much as you can to show that you care about what other people say. They will come more frequently because of this sign of niceness

How do you feel about the new blog update on Sal's Realm?
Well... Using mine as an achievements log has inspired me (it got me to train smithing and crafting! It takes a LOT to inspire me to train smithing. ). I'm sure it'll be interesting to look back in 5 months and see how I was sooo proud of getting 80 firemaking or whatever when I'll have 99 or something by that time.
I guess I also hope the blogs don't degenerate into the generic myspacesque competition to see who has the most friends. Of course, I am guilty of making a parody of a myspacey post in my blog, but that's all good and fun (I think!). ~Cameron

I don't use it much. I posted a blog entry, but 1 person commented on it. Its mostly a popularity thing. If your popular, people will comment on your blog. So, not as good as I thought it was going to be.~!!$*t*u*u*d!

It's great. I've never been much into blogs, and I hate MySpace, but a blog on the forums for community members only is a great addition. ~Masao

Personally, i think its great. It allows people to write their views and opinions (whether its about Runescape or other things like music and television shows) and not be flamed for having that opinion. Its also a chance for people to show what they're good at. So i think its an excellent update ~Princess Sjd
